Megan was intrigued by James' witty humor and his use of the word "smitten" and James loved her feisty personality and fiery red hair. Their first date (dinner at My Two Cents followed by a concert at The Wiltern) went off without a hitch and for the next year and a half they continued sharing meals and adventures as their love continued to grow. James' proposal a year and a half later was responded to with a ARE YOU KIDDING ME? TODAY? ARE YOU SERIOUS?" (AND THEN "YES!") from Megan.
